Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Female | spayed | 13 years and 7 months old | 18.02 lbs
I may have given my 18 lb bichon too much Previcox (57MG) Her regular dose of 1/4 of a tablet given at 9:00 last night, she May have had 1/4 tab. at 9 this morning and then regular dose of 1/4 tab at 9 tonight. Her tablets are 57 mg. I'm second guessing that I may have mistakenly given the a.m. dose, I'm not sure what to do? Is there anything to worry about?

I am sorry to hear about your concern for Hallie. It is unlikely with a one time extra dose of her previcox that we will see any major concerns. The most common side effect would be GI upset such as vomiting, decreased appetite, or diarrhea. I would just monitor her for these signs and contact your vet if they occur (you can try feeding a bland diet of plain cooked rice and boiled shredded chicken breast for a day if they occur, if they continue a vet visit is needed). Most likely she will have no symptoms after this one time extra dose.
