Why is my dog dry heaving, stomach rumbling, yet still eating?

My 3 year old American Staffordshire has been dry heaving today she is clingy wingy and her stomache has a rumbling sound. She is still eating well. Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 3 years and 10 months old | 52 lbs

The rumbling sound along with the dry heaving can be an indication that there is something going on. She may be having a hard time digesting something she ate or have cramping or an infection starting. Feed her small amounts of food to make sure everything keeps moving correctly as long as she does not vomiting. If you notice diarrhea or vomiting, then you can with hold food and water for a few hours and get her to your vet for a check up
