My 7-week-old puppy smells bad. Is it safe to give him a bath?

I gave my 7-weeks-old puppy a quick bath yesterday because he smells. I was wondering would that affect him? He's still pretty active and playful, nothing has changed. I'm just a little worried. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 25 days old | 10 lbs

Good question., you did the right thing. Percy will be fine as long as you dried him off and he didn't get chilled. If he's eating normally and moving around he will be fine. I like to clean them up to get rid of the dirt and odor so they are more comfortable and the skin doesn't develop problems from being so dirty and smelly.
