Why does my dog keep getting lumps on her back after Benadryl?

My dog woke up with lumps all over her back yesterday. They went down with benadryl amd were almost gone last night. This morning she woke up with more new ones. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 7 months old | 50 lbs
