My 13-month-old dog has a retained baby tooth. Is removal necessary?

Hi, my dog is 13 months old and he has one retained deciduous canine teeth (baby teeth). It must get removed or could he live with it? Thank u!

It should be removed, as it can cause Casper's permanent teeth to move into incorrect positions, resulting in an abnormal bite pattern. It can also lead to abnormal jaw position. I would take him into the vet to have the tooth removed under anesthesia.
