My cat has a black growth on his outer lip. It's hard and looks like it's under the skin. He's started acting tired and very snuggly. Should I be worried? Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

Unfortunately, in this area I would be concerned that this is some type of cancerous growth.I would recommend an immediate vet visit - your vet can take a sample of the lump and tell you what it is. Based on that diagnosis a treatment plan can be developed.
