Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 8 days old
My 10 week old cocker spaniel woke up at 3am with a tummy making noises. We took him to the toilet and we did a normal textured poo, but then started vomiting up clear liquid. It was totally clear and he vomited 3 times. After vomiting he started playing and still has lots of energy, but his tummy is making noises still. It sounds like it's creaking. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do to make sure it doesn't get worse?

Poor Buddy! It sounds like he may have an upset stomach for some reason. If it's been at least four hours since he vomited, you can try offering him a small amount of plain boiled chicken and rice to help settle his stomach. Chicken-flavored baby food can also work well for this. If he keeps it down, you can continue to offer small amounts every few hours for the rest of the day, then transition back to his normal diet tomorrow if things are going well. If he continues to vomit throughout the day today, or if he develops any other symptoms such as acting lethargic or not wanting to eat, I would recommend having him seen by a vet as these can be signs of a more serious problem.
