My 2-year-old cat is tiny like a kitten. Is this normal? Will she grow?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 9.5 lbs

My cat is two almost three years old and is extremely small for her age about the size of a six month old kitten is this normal and will she grow?

If Silver is almost three years old now, she should be completely finished growing - so I would not expect her to get any bigger. Some cats do stay very petite in size; this isn't necessarily abnormal, as long as she seems healthy otherwise. If she is eating and drinking fine, active, and not overly skinny then I wouldn't worry - she may just be a small kitty :)

    At two pounds, this would be an extraordinarily small size even for a small breed adult cat. I would agree that a problem in utero or some sort of congenital defect is the likely cause for Hazel tiny stature. It is extremely unlikely, if not impossible, to assume that she will grow any more if she is two years old already.
