How to tell someone what's best for my dog if they don't agree?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 4 lbs

So how should I tell her all that? I admit I'm scared too but I want what's best for her. Any advice on the topic?

It's always ok to advocate for your dog if you feel that's the best course of action for Bella. You could simply tell her that you asked for advice on a website that has veterinary experts, and relate the information I provided. Keep in mind, however, that she has a right to her opinion and she may disagree with my information. You may not be able to get her to see you side of things, but if you lay out the information simply and stick to the facts, she may be able to see your side of the situation as well. If she doesn't, at least you spoke your mind and tried, and you should be proud of yourself for that :-)
