is there any difference b/w DEXODERM OINTMENT & MUPIROCIN OINTMENT? DEXODERM composition has ofloxacin IP 0.75% w.w , Ornidazole IP 2% w/w , Terbinafine Hydrochloride BP 1% w/w, Clobetason Propionate IP 0.05% , Methyl Paraben IP 0.2% w/w , Propylparaben IP 0.02% w/w , Cream base q.s. & Whereas, MUPIROCIN OINTMENT composition has MUPIROCIN 2% w/w & Water Soluble Base q.s. Out of above 2 DEXODERM & MUPIROCIN OINTMENT which one is more effective for skin and for which skin disease meant for

Dexoderm ointment has a broader spectrum as can treat fungal infections as well as bacterial ones. This because it has Terbinafine inside. Mupirocin is effective against bacterial infections only. The efficacy would depend on the type of infection Bruno has.
