My 21-year-old cat has a circular patch on her leg where the hair is missing--about the size of a nickel, but getting larger. It doesn't seem to bother her and the skin is pink and dry. She has kidney disease, but is otherwise pretty healthy for her age. Should I worry?

Yes I would have Luna checked by your veterinarian as this circular patch could be potentially a spot of fungal or bacterial infection, especially if it is not resolving and is getting bigger. Your veterinarian can easily confirm or rule out this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately.
