My dog has a yeast infection. What causes it & can Neosporin treat it?

What causes yeast infection and how it can be treated ? Will neosporing powder going to work for its treatment ?

Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of the Malassezia species of yeast. It requires topical anti-fungals, which can only be prescribed by a vet. Neosporin will not work for it's treatment, as it's an antibiotic cream and antibiotics do not treat fungal infections. You will need to take Bruno into the vet for treatment if he does have a yeast infection.
