My dog is coughing, gagging, and lethargic after grooming. Is it kennel cough?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 5 lbs

My dog has developed a cough and wretching without being sick, she is very lethargic, she has been like this since coming back from the dog groomers yesterday.

Cough can be caused by an infection, heart problem or lung condition, it is important to first know the cause before treating it as treatment is different from condition to another. The most common disease causing cough is a viral infection called Kennel cough, this disease usually resolves without treatment within a couple weeks but if the cough is too severe I would recommend to take Piapa to the vet in order to get cough medicine and antibiotics.
