Azalea is toxic to goats. GI signs appear first within six hours of ingestion, and include salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and tremors. If he ate enough of the plant, then symptoms progress to convulsions, followed by coma and death. If you aren't sure that Jebediah ate the plant, I would monitor him for now, and keep him in place where he has no access to the Azalea. If you notice any of the GI signs I mentioned above, you will need to get a vet out to see him immediately. There is no cure for Azalea toxicity, but there is supportive treatment. Activated charcoal can be given to prevent further absorption of the toxin, as well as IV fluids.

If only a small amount of either was ingested, you may see vomiting, diarrhea and drooling. Treatment is largely supportive. Activated charcoal can be given if necessary. Offer small frequent meals and keep them hydrated. You can use ReSorb or unflavored PediaLyte as a drench. Larger amounts may cause more serious symptoms, such as weakness, paralysis, low heart rate or abnormal heart rhythms. These symptoms should be addressed by your veterinarian.
