Why is my German Shepherd collapsing, unsteady, and not eating?

my German shepherd has just collapsed when trying to run across the room. she also fell last night trying to get upstairs and she slid back down again. this morning she was sick, and she hasn't touched her food all day. she seems very unsteady on her feet and doesn't have any strength in her back legs. what could be wrong with her.

She could have arthritis in her rear legs, degenerative myelopathy, neck or back problem, etc. She should to be examined by a veterinarian to determine the exact cause. Your vet can do a full orthopedic exam and take x-rays, if needed, to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat. She may need an anti-inflammatory and or pain medications to help. Hope she feels better soon.
