Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 90 lbs
My dog (Labrador retriever) is severely allergic to grass pollen to the point everyday he develops a bright red rash over his whole body and gets blisters on his stomach/private area even if I give him allergy medicine daily. I've tried everything like limiting his daily time outside, medications benadryl and clartin as the vet said to me, etc. Is there any advice or medicines that would help treat this allergy? I am tired of seeing him all blistered up from this allergy. :(

Poor Oakley! I would discuss steroid use in him with your vet. He may benefit from a shot such as Depo Medrol to help with the allergic reaction to the grass. I would also ask for a referral to a veterinarian dermatologist. As an expert in veterinary dermatology, they may have more treatments available to help Oakley with this problem.
