Why does my hamster have a red flab under its chin or neck?

Hi! My hamster has a huge red flab out of her skin by her chin under her neck. I don't know what this could be but I reallly could use an answer fast thx. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female

It could be some type of an infection, mass, or wound. Without seeing the lesion, it is hard to determine the cause. Have your vet take a look at him to determine the cause and if treatment is needed.
