Why does my cat hiccup and gasp after using the litter box?

Somtimes, after he gets out of litter box, he makes a sound like hiccups a few times & his body, specially his lungs goes in and out. What can it be? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 months and 15 days old | 11.7 lbs

That is a little strange, especially if it only happens after being in the litter box and no other time. The best thing would be to record the episode and then show it to your vet so he/she can see exactly what your kitten is doing and then decide if it needs to be treated.
