Why is my dog dragging his butt, licking, and has a lump by his anus?

My male dog started dragging his butt on my carpet more than usual, and I've seen him lick his butthole more frequently then before. I took a look at it and he has a lump on the left side of his butthole. I don't know what it is. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | unneutered

The anal sac will need to be expressed if it's impacted, so I would take him into the vet now during normal business hours. It's important to have it expressed before it ruptures.
