My senior dog growls when moving. Is she in pain or has arthritis?

My dog keeps growling every time she moves or gets up

It sounds like Princess could be in pain when she moves and gets up. I see that she is an older girl, and arthritis is common in older dogs. I recommend giving her glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate supplements. They provide the necessary nutrients for cartilage repair and function. Use of them helps relieve some of the symptoms of arthritis. I would also recommend taking her into the vet for an exam. If the vet thinks it is appropriate for Princess, they can prescribe Rimadyl (an NSAID) to use in conjunction with the supplements to give your dog the best possible relief from her symptoms.
