What travel advice do I need for my Maltese on New Year's Day?

I'm not sure if I should take my Maltese with me on new years day or not. But in case if I decide to take her with me. Do you have any advice for me? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 4 lbs

It really depends on where you are taking her and how you are getting there. If she is used to traveling than it shouldn't be a problem. If not, you may need to get a sedative from your vet, especially if the distance is far.
