Hi, my kitten is 7 months old keeps meowing quietly and making humming noises aswell. She's been spayed and microchipped. She's very active, eats well (science plan) and sleeps atleast 14-16 hours . Just concerned as she's our first ever pet and just want to make sure. Thank you for taking your time to read this. I look forward to hear from you. Do you think the "humming" could be purring? Nothing you've said sounds obviously abnormal, and from your description she's active and eating well. It sounds like she receives regular veterinary care, so I'm assuming she's been vaccinated, treated for fleas, etc. Watch her closely, monitor her food and water intake, as well as her appetite. If anything seems amiss, get her checked out, but suspect that she's normal.
