My dog has yellow flakes and shakes after grooming. Is it infected?

Hi, my dog just got a haircut two days ago and now has yellow flakes on his skin and is shaking. Do you think it can be infected from getting cut too short and should he get it checked out. Thanks

I have seen dogs get skin infections from grooming equipment, so yes, I do think it's possible, however I doubt that it's related to the length of the cut. I would definitely get it checked out, although at this point it doesn't sound like an emergency. Fluffy may need antibiotics if there is truly an infection, and your vet should be able to determine that.
