Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 4 lbs
Hi I woke up this morning and found undigested cat food that looked like poop in my living room. This has never happened before. She does seem to be really hungry the last couple of days . Should I be concerned?

If it does not happen again, I wouldn't be too concerned, if the increased appetite and vomiting continue- you should take Dory to the vet in order to have a blood test done, these symptom could be a sign of hyperthyroidism.

Depending on his age these signs could be compatible with hyperthyroidism. This disease increase the metabolism and often appetite becomes ravenous and can lead to aggressive behaviour. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately. Even if your veterinarian does not find anything abnormal on blood tests, your cat may be hyperthyroid, (euthyroid sick). You may want to discuss this with your veterinarian or have your cat referred to a veterinary internist. I recommend having her thyroid tested again,

I recommend to have Mino examined by her veterinarian. An increasing appetite can be due to a few things but the two most common are intestinal parasites and hyperthyroidism. It is generally easy to test for and diagnose both of these. Treatment is based upon test results. Both of these conditions will also cause vomiting, but so can many other disease processes. It’s always best to play it safe. Best of luck.
