Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 7 years and 7 months old | 10 lbs
My cat had a bald spot that has turned into a pink, sort of mishapen bump about the size of a half dollar and has a bit of scabbing on it, as if she bites it sometimes. It is on the back of her hind leg. Other than this she has no symptoms and is completely normal. What could it be?

Jasper could have allergic skin disease, which is very itchy, or a bacterial or fungal infection. Your vet may want to do a skin scraping or fungal culture to figure out what is causing the bump and how to treat it. She may need allergy medication like apoquel or steroids, or antibiotics. Hope that helps!
