Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend taking Shiro back to the vet with a fresh stool sample to check for intestinal parasites. If normal I would recommend an abdominal X-ray to rule out a foreign body. It may not be the food and there could be something serious. He should not be vomiting daily and I worry he could dehydrate. Good luck and kisses to Shiro!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Pamo! Causes of vomiting and diarrhea in young cats are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, food allergy or intolerance, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, toxin ingestion. I recommend having your Vet check a stool sample and I recommend deworming him again, even if it is negative. Since multiple attempts at fasting hasn't helped the diarrhea I think Pamo should see a Vet for an exam. He may need a course of antibiotics to help his diarrhea. I also think probiotics can be helpful, I like Purina Fortiflora. If you recently gave him a new treat or changed his food before the vomiting and diarrhea started I would stop that food/treat and go back to your original food. I hope this helps and I wish Pamo a speedy recovery!

I'm sorry your baby isn't feeling well. Intially the vet will likely recommend feline leukemia and FIV testing if the kitten hasn't yet been tested. Also they may get a stool sample to assess for parasites. Depending on exam findings and getting a more thorough history they may discuss running more complete bloodwork or imaging (X-rays or ultrasound). Common causes of vomitting/diarrhea in kittens can we do to parasites, viral disease, or foreign body. I hope Mitzi is feeling better very soon. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
