My 10-year-old Mastiff is head pressing with red, swollen paws.

Pet's info: Dog | English Mastiff | Female | spayed | 10 years and 7 months old | 165 lbs

Hi there, I have an almost 10 year old English Mastiff. For the past couple of days, she has been pushing her face in her bed, as if she is trying to push something. Also, all 4 of her paws are red and swollen. Her back right leg, to graze my fingers over it, makes her pull away & she covers it with her head as to protect it. I don't know if it is a coincidence but, both these things I have noticed just the past 3 days & I am extremely concerned. Thank you.

I would recommend taking Xena to a vet as soon as possible. Dogs can head press and this typically means they have a head ache or something going on with there head or high blood pressure. It is super important that Xena has a good exam and some basic testing like blood pressure and blood work to determine the cause . I hope Xena feels better!
