My dog never sneezes, but just had hard bouts. Should I be concerned?

My dog sneezed really hard earlier this evening and just had another bout of it. She never sneezes. Her lungs are clear, no nasal or eye discharge. Pet's info: Dog | Whippet | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 7 months old | 33 lbs

One or two sneezes, even if out of the ordinary, is not necessarily problematic. Consider if you or someone you know sneezed a couple of times and if you would be extremely concerned even if you hadn't heard them sneeze previously. Unless you are seeing Tuxedo sneezing on a semi regular to regular basis, she does not need to be examined by a veterinarian. There is a definite possibility that she could have just been exposed to something that has caused some mild irritation, or she could be coming down with a cold. Continue to monitor for signs of nasal discharge, coughing, or exercise intolerance. Should any of these occur, have Tuxedo examined at your next convenience. Hope this makes sense.
