My dog has a red bump on its face. Is it an ear yeast infection spreading?

The yeast that cause ear infections are found on the skin and in the ears of normal dogs in small numbers but can proliferate and cause an infection under the right circumstances. An infection in the ear cannot spread, but it is possible for dogs to get fungal skin infections and both skin infections and ear infections can be related to allergies. If this red spot is not bothering Mika and seems to be resolving it sounds like you could monitor the area for the next few days. If she develops more spots, if the spot seems itchy or painful, or if it is not gone in the next 3-5 days I'd recommend having it examined by a veterinarian.
