My dog has painful sores in his armpits. What should I do for him?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 103.61 lbs

Hi I have a old English bull Cross American bull he's prone to having sores around in arm pit area m where grit and heat will gather now I bathed him yesterday as he laid in a ants nest a few days ago and he's sore all over now. I've put suda cream all over the sores and he doesn't seen bothered I'm unsure what to do any advise would be brilliant please

Poor Cooper! Skin lesions can be caused by bacterial, parasitic or fungal infection, dietary or environmental allergies or sensitivities, immune system disorders, or a combination of the above. Based on the pictures it looks like Cooper’s skin is likely causing him pain, but dogs are very good at hiding signs of discomfort. I recommend making an appointment to have Cooper seen by your veterinarian to help determine the cause of the sores you’ve noticed and to make sure they are treated appropriately. The vet will likely wan to look at a sample from the area under the microscope to determine if there is an infection and to figure out what medication is appropriate for treatment.
