Is it ok if I get my dog a puppichino once a week? (a small cup/lid of whipped cream) why or why not? Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 17 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Dogs do not have the enzymes to break down dairy products like humans do. While the puppichino isn't toxic (as long as it is coffee and chocolate free), it could cause some diarrhea. You could try a small amount and see if she gets diarrhea and if so, stop giving it. Really she doesn't need the treat but if it makes you feel good, once a week is ok! Kisses to Chloe!
