Dog losing weight, always hungry, stomach noises. What do X-rays show?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 14 years old | 37 lbs

Hi my dog has been loosing alot of weight but is always hungry his stomach makes all these noises and he wants out alot more and iv been finding him just lieing in garden when letting him out even in middle of night he has had bloods done due to the weight loss and all bloods are fine vet says next step is xrays what will the vets be looking for with xrays any advice on whats wrong with him i cant afford to get him to vets just now for these xrays

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Likely from what you are telling me, as well as your pet's age the drs are looking for masses (tumors) in the gastrointestinal tract or otherwise that would be causing Logan to lose so much weight. If your blood work is fine diabetes (one of the more common) has been ruled out and this should also mean your liver and kidney function tests fell within normal limits in your bloods. An ultrasound may be beneficial as well in looking for abdominal masses. I'm sorry you're having this issue with your friend. It sounds as though he is very uncomfortable. My best to you both.
