Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 10 lbs
my shitzus eyes are red on the inside and have green puss all around them, he refuses to open them and has been lazier then usual and not acting like himself. Seems as if he has an eye infection, both eyes!...What can i do for him or what should i do?

Until you can get to the veterinarian, you can warm compress the eyes the alleviate some of the discomfort and remove some of the discharge. Let the moist warmth loosen the discharge and vet gently rub it away. A vet needs to look at the eyes and make sure that your dog is making enough tears. Lack of tear production can cause problems with the eyes. Also, your vet needs to check for ulcers and also check the pressure for glaucoma. Go to the vet as soon as is possible. Consider going to the ER of you think your pet is in a great deal of pain.

Please get him assessed by a vet as soon as possible, these eyes sound very painful and may be due to in turned eyelids, dry eye or ulcers and requires urgent treatment to relieve pain and prevent scarring
