My puppy has diarrhea, is shaking, and foaming. Is it serious?

My 12 week old rescue dog (we suspect kelpie x golden retriever but not sure) has had diarrhoea for 24 hours, is shaking a lot and was foaming at the mouth a few days ago. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 lbs

It sounds asFrankie is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. the foaming from the mouth is probably a sign of nausea. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
