Is clindamycin the right medicine for my dog's pachydermatis?

my dog was prescribed clindamycin will that help with pachydermatis

Hello there and thank you for your post! Packy dermatitis is typically associated with malassezia. This is typically a fungal infection for which clindamycin will not treat. Clindamycin is generally great for bone and dental infections. We typically use clindamycin to treat what we call anaerobic infections due to bacteria not fungus.
