Is it normal for my puppy to pause breathing briefly while sleeping?

My puppy pauses breathing for a short time when she moves whilst she is asleep. Is this something I need to worry about? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 4.5 lbs

Minnie is a very cute name! I would not be concerned about her breathing while she is sleeping unless she is not eating,drinking,seems painful or cannot rest. If is possible for her to have changes in her breathing while she is sleeping. Anytime you have a new addition to the family it is best to take them to the vet to make sure they are healthy. IF you have no had a routine vet visit it would be a good idea! hope that helps. thanks for using pet coach
