My new puppy isn't eating and has a gurgling stomach. What's wrong?

I have a new puppy and she hasn't been eating. Today her stomach is gurgling and will not eat. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 5 days old | 3 lbs

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Miko! Since Miko is so young and hasn't been eating I recommend you have her seen sooner than later. Puppies that young can deteriorate quickly. If she is not up to date on vaccines, parvo is a concern. But it could be other viral or bacterial infections, food intolerance, ate something that isn't agreeing with her, intestinal parasites or a foreign body. Try offering her something yummy like boiled chicken or hamburger with rice or some meat flavored baby foods. If she continues to not eat, starts vomiting or having diarrhea or is lethargic she needs to be seen. i wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery for Miko
