My senior dog has a pink, lumpy growth on his neck. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Fox Terrier | Male | neutered | 12 years and 9 months old | 17 lbs

My 14 year old Fox terrier has a pinkish lumpy mass 1c.m. in size on the back of his neck and a smaller one on his head behind his ear has also appeared. They dont bother him at all and are not sore to touch. I am homeless and cannot afford to pay for advice. thank you - Clare

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It looks like a warty growth called an adenoma. These are normal growths in older pets and are not worrisome. You may find more on Minty as he ages. The skin is fragile so if he scratches them they may bleed, but again, nothing to worry about. Kisses to Minty!
