Why is my dog taking long to pee and bleeding from his penis?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 11 months old | 75 lbs

My dog takes a long time to pee it would stop and start and keep doing that and now he is bleeding from his penis I don't know if that has something to do with it or not but I wanna know why it's doing that before I take him to the vet

Based on the signs, he could have a urinary tract infection and/or bladder stones. He should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can test a urine sample for infection and then prescribe an antibiotic, if needed.
