Unfortunately the color on the picture is quite distorted. However if appears to be a possible abscess (infected pocket caused by trauma to the skin) or a large inflammatory response to a bug bite (spider perhaps). It is large however and looks irritated so I would recommend having your vet examine this area closely. Jasmine will likely need some medicaitons to get this to resolve well. Poor girl. I hope she gets this resolved soon. Best wishes and take care.

Due to the color, this is either a reaction to an insect bite or a mass. I would expect your vet to want to possibly shave the area to get a closer view of it, and possibly get samples from it. If an insect bite is more likely, then a short course of anti-inflammatory medication can help resolve the area, especially if it is causing Hazel discomfort. I hope that this lesion resolves soon and is nothing more than an insect bite. Best of luck and take care.
