My dog has dark, raised spots and bumps on her back. Should I worry?

My dog had a dark, raised spot on her back. upon looking, I easily pulled the hair away from that spot, leaving an open place. There are a few more large dark bumps. Should I be concerned? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 155 lbs

Hello and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. From your description it is likely Gurdle has a skin infection. This infection could be fungal or bacterial. I would get Gurdle in to see your vet so that she can receive the proper treatment. Treatment may include oral antibiotics and topical treatments. Once the infection is resolved the hair will likely grow back in and the skin will likely return to its normal color in the affected areas. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
