Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 3 years and 11 months old | 75 lbs

My German Shepherd Bear has a little pink growth on her foot. It appeared 2 days ago she is not limping or licking it, she still runs around and seems unfased by it until i try to touch it. I will try to get to a vet monday as it is a weekend and it appears to be slightly larger than yesterday. I am just concerned as to what it is any help would be appreciated.

At the moment if Bear is not licking it i would recommend not to do anything until you can take her to the vet. the lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Bear to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
