Why is my dog itching, scratching ears, and licking his paws?

I have a 10 month old Lab dog who ive noticed has these black spots near his genitals. Ignored them as i thought it may be just a beauty spot or a scab. But noticed afew more under his fur. He also has been scratching his ear and shaking his head which makes me wonder if he has an ear infection? Licking paws and the scratching left ear. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 9 months and 28 days old | 66 lbs

The black spots in the pictures are normal in dogs. They are usually regressed nipples. However if shadow is itchy it is most likely secondary to allergies or parasites. I would recommend applying flea prevention every 30 days. Also you can try an over the counter anti histamine with medicated shampoo. If this is not helping or he gets worse I would recommend taking him to a vet for a good exam. thanks for using pet coach
