Dog's eyes swollen after grooming. Are vet eye drops working yet?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 11 lbs

Hello, I took my dog to a groomer this morning and when I picked him up, his eyes were swollen shut, red, and producing discharge. I took him to a vet who gave us 3 different eye drops about 5 hours ago, and nothing has changed. Should I be worried they are not working? Should I seek other help?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Gunnar!! I think just 5 hours is not long enough to give the medications a chance to work. If he is WORSE have him rechecked now or if he is not better in 36-48 hours I would have him rechecked! I hope this helps and I wish Gunnar a speedy recovery!
