My dog has a soft growth on his face. Is it a papilloma wart?

Yes, you are right, this is a papilloma (aka wart). This is a particularly odd location for one too. These are often left alone, because they tend not to be much of a problem. Also, when they are removed, they can sometimes come back. However, this one appears like it will be a problem and I would consider taking him to the vet and asking about removal options. They are quite easy to remove and should not be too expensive.
