My dog has a red belly but no itch. Is it a contact or food allergy?

Red on her abdomen but no raised bumps or patches. Doesn't seem to itch or bother her. No idea whether it's a contact allergy or something she is ingesting. Difficult to tell when it started because it was very, very mild and got worse gradually over the last week and a half or so. Have changed a number of things over the last month, both diet and environment, at vet's recommendation, so I'm trying to narrow down the cause. Is this contact allergy or food? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 3 years and 7 months old | 73 lbs

There is no way of knowing for sure from a picture but the location is more suggestive of something she is lying on. Food sensitivities can appear in many ways but itchy feet, ears and perineum are most common
