My dog fell, limping, panting, shivering. What does a leg pop mean?

My dog fell on his side while running and was limping, panting and shivering all day then while runbing his leg i heard a pop and then he was fine but i picked him up and i heard a pop and he is back to doing the same thing, i think he was still in pain after the first pop. And he wont let me touch his leg without biting me. Its his front right arm and towards the shoulder. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

I am so sorry to hear this! If he is seeming painful with his front leg and you are hearing a popping noise, I would be concerned something has been dislocated or is broken. I would highly recommend taking him in for an X-ray to diagnose it! If it is a dislocation they can be very painful and are easier to treat if seen ASAP. I hope this helps!
