I'm sorry to hear Cooper is having issues. Bloody stool like you are describing can have a variety of causes, including dietary indiscretion, gastroenteritis, a virus, or an overgrowth of clostridium bacteria in the colon, among others. I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for his diarrhea, have any necessary testing done, and get started on any treatment (antidiarrheal, probiotic) that may be needed to help resolve it. Good luck!

It is possible that Koa has GI polyps causing the occasional blood in his stools, or if he's the type of dog who likes to eat things he shouldn't, there could be damage to his intestinal tract as they pass through. It could also be caused by intestinal worms if he's not up to date on his deworming treatments. It's not normal for a dog to have bloody stool a couple of times a week, and I would recommend having him seen by a vet tomorrow to diagnose what is causing the occasional bloody stool so he can be treated for it.
