My dog has a rash and upset stomach after swimming. What's wrong?

I recently took my dog out to a public place, where there was a lot of dogs. He swam and had a good time. About a week later I started noticing a rash around his stomach. And it significantly got worst. Yesterday I noticed his poop wasn't solid either, and he has an upset stomach as well. A good sign is that he's still eating and being active, and I'm going to the vet first thing in the morning. Any idea what this could be? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 11 days old | 50 lbs

Poor Hendrix. Definitely keep your appointment with the vet. He may have ingested something he shouldn't have while swimming or playing, and dogs can often get skin infection or dermatitis from swimming. Diarrhea can also come about from parasites or stress/excitement. The vet may check a still sample for parasites or abnormal bacterial growth. I hope Hendrix feels better soon.
