Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 15 years and 7 months old
I'm sure my dog has rectal prolapse. Seemed to have in past and improved. 15 years old. Had meningitis years ago. Is there anything I can do to improve gross blood on sheets?

Hi, thanks fro using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Cooper! Based on your pictures it looks like he may have perineal fistulas or multiple perineal adenomas. Perineal adenomas appear in older intact male dogs from hormones. Surgery corrects them. Perineal fistulas are much more frustrating to treat. I recommend having your Vet take a look and confirm what is going on. There is nothing I can think of to put on him besides a dog diaper to prevent him from soiling the sheets. I wish you and Cooper the best!
